Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

WebRešenje is a web design and SEO studio registered in Serbia (PIB / Tax ID 115803024, Company Registration Number 68647509), headquartered at Karađorđeva 58, 26000 Pančevo, Serbia. When this policy says “we”, “us” or “our”, it refers to WebRešenje.

We work with clients in Serbia, the region and the EU, and typically work remotely. This policy explains what personal data we collect through webresenje.rs (the “Site”), why, and what rights you have over it. We aim to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors and clients from the EU, regardless of where we are registered.

2. Data we collect

We deliberately keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may collect:

  • Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone number and message content, when you use the contact form, email us, chat with us, or message us on WhatsApp.
  • Project details — information you share about your business or project once we start working together (e.g. during onboarding, a proposal, or service delivery).
  • Cookie data — small amounts of technical data stored in your browser, only for categories you’ve consented to. See our Cookie Policy for details.
  • Basic technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated automatically by most hosting infrastructure, used only for security and keeping the site running.

We do not collect payment card data on the Site — billing and payment happen through separate, direct channels agreed with each client.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • Respond to inquiries sent via chat, email, WhatsApp or the contact form.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals and project plans.
  • Deliver, invoice and support web design, SEO, hosting and care-plan services once you become a client.
  • Keep the Site secure and functional.
  • Understand aggregate Site usage, but only where you’ve consented to analytics cookies.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to running WebRešenje and delivering our services.

Under the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing, preferences), and for any marketing communication you explicitly opt into.
  • Contract / pre-contractual steps — for data needed to prepare a quote at your request, or to deliver a service you’ve engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interest — for basic technical/security logging, and for responding to general inquiries you initiate.
  • Legal obligation — where we’re required to keep certain records (e.g. invoices) for tax and accounting purposes.

5. Cookies & tracking

The Site uses a cookie consent banner that appears on your first visit. No analytics or marketing cookie is set until you actively allow it. The full list of categories, their purpose, and how to change your choice are described in our separate Cookie Policy.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page. Declining or withdrawing consent is just as easy as giving it.

6. Handling the contact form

When you submit a contact form on the Site, the data you enter (name, email and message) is securely forwarded to our internal inquiry management system, where it’s stored as an inquiry record (“lead”) and assigned to our team. Our team automatically receives an email notification at info@webresenje.rs as soon as a new inquiry arrives, so we can respond quickly.

The form includes a hidden field to protect against automated (spam) submissions; it’s invisible and doesn’t affect you as a visitor. We use form data solely to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to continue the relationship — see Data retention for how long we keep it.

7. Email, WhatsApp & chat

We communicate with potential and existing clients via email, WhatsApp, and our “Get in touch” panel on the site (which itself just links to email and WhatsApp). Note that:

  • Email is processed through our email provider in line with this policy.
  • WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (part of Meta). Messages you send us via WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, since that platform is outside our control.

We use contact details you send through these channels only to reply to you and, where relevant, to deliver the services you’ve requested.

8. Data retention

  • General inquiries that don’t turn into a project are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client and project data is kept for the duration of our working relationship, plus a reasonable period afterward for support and legal/accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records, per standard bookkeeping obligations).
  • Cookie consent choices are stored in your browser until you clear your browser data or change your preference.

9. Your rights

If you’re in the EU, the GDPR gives you the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data (the “right to be forgotten”), where applicable.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

10. Third-party services

We try to keep third-party dependency to a minimum. Currently:

  • Google Fonts — this Site loads fonts directly from Google’s font servers. This may transmit your IP address to Google when the page loads, independent of your cookie choice, since it happens as part of loading the page itself, not through a cookie. Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp — see Email, WhatsApp & chat above.

Google Analytics 4 — we use GA4 to understand aggregate Site traffic and improve it. The script only loads once you allow the “Analytics” category in the cookie banner; until then, no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent to Google. See our Cookie Policy for details. We do not use Meta Pixel or any marketing/advertising tool at this time.

11. Data security

We use industry-standard hosting and take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold, including limiting access to client data to people who need it to deliver our services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk as low as possible.

12. Children’s privacy

WebRešenje is a professional service aimed at business owners and decision-makers, not children. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate or in applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
